How To Use Practice Files:
Practice files are audio files that play your part louder than the other parts. Whenever possible, there will be links to audio files (such as mp3 files) that you can download. Alternatives may also be provided, such as links to YouTube videos; links to Web sites; and MIDI files.
Slowing down audio files: You may want to slow down mp3 files to play at a slower tempo. Here are links that purport to tell you how to do this — (1) Slow playback speed in Windows Media Player — (2) Slow down playback speed online at Audiotrimmer Web site — (3) Android and iOS apps to slow down playback speed (Mary Regan of the Cinnabar Singers recommends “Music Speed Changer” for Android, or “AnyTune” or “Audipo” for iOS).

Rehearsal Schedule
Please be on time: be ready to start promptly at 6:10pm. Classroom in the “Creative Arts” building, first floor, room 132.

REHEARSAL PLAN FOR MONDAY 8/24:
First Class: Orientation. Any unregistered students who are interested in this class should also attend.
Refer to CCSF Choir calendar for weekly schedule of rehearsals and concert.
REHEARSAL PLAN FOR MONDAY 12/7:
Last Rehearsal before Concert (“Dress” rehearsal): Everyone called at 5:30, second floor atrium in the library (no need to dress up for this rehearsal)
- Meet at the Rosenberg library (bottom of the stairwell) for the beginning of the rehearsal.
CONCERT Date: December 10, 2026
Arrive by 4:30 p.m.
Concert at 5:30 p.m.
Location: Rosenberg Library, CCSF Ocean Campus (bottom floor in stairwell)
On the concert day, please be ready to sing at 4:30pm, when we will do a short rehearsal. The concert starts at 5:30pm, so ask your friends to arrive around 5:15pm. Tickets are free.
Dress code: Men should wear a button-down white shirt (long-sleeved), black shoes, long black pants, and some sort of tie. Women should wear all black and wear a colorful neck scarf. Sheet music should be brought in a 3-ring binder with a black cover.
